David Hood

"Davy" Hood is remembered as a prim, popular fellow, who could be found most of the time at Porter's drug store, where now stands the building occupied by the Peru Trust Co. He was a son of Wm. Hood, of Hood& Britton, who founded the town of Peru in 1834, as the seat of Miami County.
